The long-awaited opening of the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee is scheduled for July 12.

Tickets go on sale May 20.

An agreement between Milwaukee and Harley-Davidson to build the museum was signed in March 2005. Ground was broken -- by way of a motorcycle burnout -- in 2006.
